Paul Brundell

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Paul has been involved in the UK property industry for 27 years and built up a portfolio of student accommodation whilst he was still a student in the early 2000’s. Paul has successfully developed many residential projects from the ground upwards, giving him excellent knowledge in construction and real estate development. In 2014, Paul took on the task of establishing a renewable energy company, where he procured 20 development sites dedicated exclusively to the generation of solar energy. This portfolio flourished and reached an impressive value of £100m. Paul then redirected his focus to his entrepreneurial roots, founding two businesses—Brundell Property Group and Kosy Living. These ventures specialise in property investments, development, and operations within the co living, build-to-rent, student housing, and later living sectors.

Paul Van Reyk

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Paul qualified as a solicitor and for many years was managing partner in a multi disciplinary partnership where he specialised in corporate and all aspects of property development transactions. He then became actively involved as a director and shareholder in a number of private property companies carrying out numerous residential and commercial schemes. This included re-generation sites such as the Wimbledon Football Club at Plough Lane, Wimbledon and a mixed use project at Creek Road Deptford with a GDV in excess of £140m. He is actively involved in the management and development of Kosy Living.

Mark Hughes

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Having originally trained as an architect, Mark worked in private practice as a project architect on a diverse range of projects from private and public housing through to hospitals and mixed-use commercial schemes. He then went on to work for a number of house-hold names in property development. During this time, he was responsible for the acquisition of sites across the UK, managing the process from site identification, planning, and land purchase through to overseeing the construction and delivery of the schemes. More recently, Mark was the Managing Director of Crosslane Residential Living where he was instrumental through a strategically led approach, in setting up the co living business, including product design, site acquisition and securing finance. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across multiple residential sectors to the team and is key in delivering future schemes.

Jose Solanot

FINANCE DIRECTOR

Jose has worked in hospitality for most of his career starting with managing a restaurant and progressing to the hotel industry. These experiences and learnings led him to his previous role as multi-property Director of Finance for an International hotel group. His role was to manage all aspects of finance strategies whilst maximising profits. As part of the executive team, he was responsible for coordinating and delivering monthly reports to the corporate office. His role also included annual building of budgets & business plans, as well as the control of food and beverage costs in order to deliver maximum profits.​ Jose has since joined Kosy Living as our Finance Director.

Fiona Davies

RESEARCH DIRECTOR

Having previously worked as an English and History teacher, Fiona has worked alongside Paul Brundell for the past 20 years. Fiona has a master’s degree in town planning and has worked for Brundell Property Group and Kosy Living from the outset. She is responsible for the land acquisition side of the company and completes the due diligence on all parcels of land. In addition, Fiona leads on all aspects of business research, including local area research, competitor and rent analysis. This crucial role ensures that all our schemes are in the best locations, we deliver buildings with attractive rents and experience good returns for the business.

Denizhan Olmez

3D VISUALISER

Denizhan has over 20 years’ experience and a strong passion for architecture and visualisation. A skilled professional with a degree in Architecture, Denizhan has managed a creative studio and produced work for architects, interior designers, property developers and real estate agencies for planning, design development and marketing purposes. Denizhan focuses on the 3D modelling, architectural visualisation, and concept design of our developments, delivering high quality CGI and animations to bring our buildings to life.

Oliver Dechalus

Development Director

Architect

James is a fully qualified Architect with strong experience in the residential, leisure and education sectors. From nearly a decade of experience in the industry, James has built a wide portfolio of projects that vary from single storey residential extensions to 1000+ bed student accommodation schemes across the UK, throughout all RIBA Stages. He has great BIM experience, collaborating with different disciplines on large scale projects. As well traditional architectural services, James also has a passion for CGI visualisations - enhancing client experience and design cohesion.

Filip Zerjavic

Architect

Filip is a UK and EU chartered architect, serving as the secretary of RIBA for Southeast London and the CEO of Sustainable Design Solutions. With a diverse portfolio, he has dedicated his career to designing and overseeing the construction of residential, commercial, hospitality, educational, and mixed-use projects. Whether working independently or collaboratively, Filip consistently delivers exceptional results from the initial design stage to project completion. Known for his dynamic and ambitious approach, he has successfully executed architectural projects both in the UK and internationally, establishing a strong track record.
