There are now almost 2.2 million university students in full-time education in the UK.

The United Kingdom has been a world leader in the PBSA (purpose-build student accommodation) sector and other countries followed suit, replicating our successful models. However, there are not enough beds being supplied for the increasing volume of students enrolling at universities and most university cities are struggling to accommodate all their students. Between now and 2030, full-time UK undergraduate numbers are only expected to increase and data from StuRents forecasts that by 2025, there will be a shortage of around 450,000 beds.
