Co Living Cambridge

Cambridge is a future hotspot for Kosy Co Living projects, we see Cambridge as an ideal location to create a mix of co living and build to rent schemes. Kosy co living is currently working on projects all across the UK, helping provide affordable housing in the most needed areas.

Lots of Londoners relocate to Cambridge because of the city’s history, culture and it’s more compact size. Alongside these are the graduates and young professionals who stay in the city after they finish their studies and the families who flock here to enrol their children in the city’s amazing schools. This mean that high quality accommodation is snapped up relatively quickly and you are often in a bidding war for the best that the city has to offer. There is constantly a shortage of properties to buy and rent in Cambridge because the city is so desirable and there is a constant high level of students moving to the city, resulting in lack of housing stock.

Kosy Co Living offers the residents of Cambridge affordable, high quality co living accommodation. We offer all bills included in our developments and the opportunity to reside in buildings with likeminded people, enjoying the amenities that five star hotels offer. We provide community living that has a positive effect on young professionals mental health and wellbeing, giving our residents a sense of togetherness and tackling loneliness through our fantastic shared spaces. Our buildings are designed to inspire conversation, facilitate networking and collaboration, all whilst creating amazing memories for a lifetime. Co living offers a solution to many of our housing problems today in the UK and can help cities like Cambridge respond to demand for modern, quality rental homes.

Cambridge is home to the world famous university, namely the University of Cambridge, and it is consistently thought of as one of the best universities of the world. The city also houses the Anglia Ruskin University. Home to around 146,000 people, over 40% of the workforce of Cambridge have a higher qualification of some sort, this is twice the national average. Cambridge is also home to Silicon Fen, home to lots of start-ups that have come out of the university and contains industries such as bioscience and software. The Cambridge Biomedical Campus is also located within the city and it is considered as one of the largest collection of biomedical research centres in the world. Lots of the science parks of the city are owned or leased by the university and Microsoft’s Research UK office is located to the west of the city. The Cambridge Science Park is run by Trinity College and is the biggest commercial research and development centre in Europe. Co living and build to rent developments fits into the larger growth of the Cambridge development scheme.

Research has found that Cambridge is the best UK city for graduates to move to or stay in after they have finished their studies. The university has always played a huge part in the way that the city runs from day to day and it is hardly surprising that almost one in four people living in the city are aged between 18 and 25 years of age. Cambridge has a high average salary, around £35,000 and the cost of living and rent is fairly low compared to London, so Cambridge is highly desirable for graduates and young professionals.
