The Dublin BTR market is still in its infancy, but it is a city with huge potential and is set for growth. With a large group of 20–40-year-olds, Dublin’s population continues to grow, and homes are required.  For buyers, property prices are showing no sign of falling in Dublin or the surrounding area, and as of January 2023, prices have reached an all-time high.  Just the same as co living within Dublin, both up and coming sectors.

With 120,000 students in the city and four universities, Dublin is a lively and exciting place to live for young people. It has good transport links, and great attractions for visitors and locals alike. It has a large food and drink scene, and live music on every night of the week - music and nightlife plays a huge part in Irish culture and you can hear a variety of music across the city. 

Dublin is a beautiful city situated on the River Liffey which flows through the centre and has 24 connecting bridges.  It’s rich with history and has impressive Georgian architecture, with a blend of more modern buildings too.   

Dublin was listed as one of Europe’s greenest cities in 2022 by Drinking Straw. The company analysed the number of parks and wildlife areas, gardens, forests and bodies of water to see which cities had the most “green spaces” per 100,000 people. Dublin came in a commendable 3rd place. Where there are parks and green spaces there are dogs. Pets are family too which is why our BTR buildings are pet-friendly, which is a huge bonus for animal lovers. 

Dublin is a beautiful city to live and work, however the cost of living is high in comparison to other cities. Build-to-rent is often a more cost-effective option for a number of reasons. Modern buildings are naturally more energy efficient, and with bills included plus amenities like 24/7 concierge, gym, fitness classes, a roof terrace, plus the convenience of location, BTR is an often the preferred choice.

Build to Rent is fast becoming an ever growing sector and Kosy Co Living will be within the heart of it. We launched our portfolio in early 2022, unveiling a £1billion development pipeline. As our pipeline grows we are looking to forward fund our larger schemes within the build to rent sector. We have commercial property investments build to rent opportunities for forward funding, equity partners, joint ventures, unconditional funding partners and planning uplift partners. We have opportunities for joint ventures with equity partners as we obtain planning permission with a view to sell or re-finance at PC. We are also sometimes presented with great opportunities for developers where the land owner needs an immediate sale and we are looking to partner with investors who would fund this type of project.
